Cétoine d’Afrique de l’Ouest.

C’est un beau coléoptère de taille très respectueuse (50-75mm), classé dans la famille des Goliathini. La femelle est brillante et le mâle mat, il possède 3 cornes, celle du milieu est longe et fourchue. Quelques individus ont des reflets ou un dessin plus ou mois rouge (ssp. rufino).

 

Riesiger Rosenkäfer.

Das Männchen hat 3 imposante Hörner und kann bis 75mm lang werden. Das Weibchen ist kleiner, ist dafür metallisch grün gefärbt. Die Zucht in Europa ist durchaus möglich solange man tropische Bedingunen schafft.

 

Scarabaeoidea.

Chelorrhina families consist of 3 species such as polyphemus, savagei and kraazi, all from East and Central-Africa. The whole life cycle lasts about one year.
